About the AGCMID - The Association for Global Cyberspace Management and Industry Development ( AGCMID ) was founded on August 26, 2023, by Dr. Yi-Lung Lin, an expert in cybersecurity, and is comprised of professionals from industry, government, academia, and research institutes in the fields of cyberspace research and development.
AGCMID’s Mission - The Association is a non-profit public welfare organization that promotes policy research, talent cultivation and application, industry promotion, and international cooperation in the management and development of the global cyberspace, with the aim of converging with the global trend.
The Goals of the AGCMID: 1. Organizing seminars and workshops on the methods, standards, regulations, technology research and development, industry promotion, workforce capacity building, awareness education and training, and forward-looking trends in the development and management of the cyberspace.
2. Promoting education and training, research and design, and industrial markets for the development and management of the cyberspace, and to organize short-term activities or medium- and long-term projects to improve the quality of professional talents, accumulate industrial and human capabilities, and lay the foundation for the future development of the cyberspace.
3. Collecting, organizing, analyzing, and making innovations based on the existing information, and publish academic research papers related to the development and management of the cyberspace, as well as publications and translations of industry practices.
4. Undertaking commissions from the public and private sectors to assist them in establishing the governance mechanism and training of talents in the field of cyberspace development and management.
5. Establishing a platform for cooperation and exchange between organizations and institutions in the development and management of cyberspace.
6. Handling activities related to the development of cyberspace technology, cyberspace security, personal data protection and privacy protection.
